Team Analysis and Match Predictions

Real Madrid are in good form at the moment and will welcome Atletico Madrid this week. The hosts have recorded a winning streak in La Liga with their last win against Real Valladolid with a narrow 1-0 score last week.

It is also worth mentioning that Real Madrid have not lost since the 1-0 defeat to Mallorca in October. With forty-six points already bagged by Los Blancos, they are currently perched at the top of the standings and three points adrift of Barcelona.

Also noted, they have not conceded defeat at home this season and lost points only three times in their last ten matches.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid have been hit by a sharp decline in performance. The guests were not successful in their last two away games and their opponents were not a heavy team. Currently, Atletico is ranked fifth with 36 points and has the same points as fourth, Getafe.

Until now, Atletico have only managed to win as a guest team one of their last seven matches. Furthermore, two of the three losses they have experienced so far have come from away matches. However, despite a rather poor performance in the away game, Atletico Madrid look good in their defense position. Only eight goals have been conceded so far.

As a result, in the match later of course the two teams do not want to lose points this week and both will play hard like the previous game.
