Having lost just one point so far, Liverpool currently show fifteen consecutive wins in the top four leagues.

Noted Liverpool have not made a mistake in front of the audience this season and have secured three points from their last twelve matches at this stadium. It should also be mentioned that the home team have been in the best defensive position in recent matches. Impressively, they have not broken out of their last four matches here.

On the other hand, Southampton bounced back from a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Wolves, with two goals against Crystal Palace in their last match. Southampton has so far lost only once in their last seven league games and only lost in their last ten matches in various competitions.

With thirty-one points collected, Southampton have made it into the top ten of the premier league. However, meeting with Liverpool who are on fire, the possibility of the visitors will be difficult to compete with the prospective champions who play host.
