Barcelona will reportedly make another attempt to re-sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain in the transfer market next summer.
The Spanish champions were strongly linked to Neymar’s move ahead of last summer’s campaign, but ultimately did not approve payment to PSG. Despite his injury, Neymar has collected nine goals and six assists in 12 appearances at the club this season, but the long-term future of the Brazilian striker is still in doubt.
According to the Spanish newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, Barca will not withdraw Neymar in January, but the Catalan giant is preparing a massive bid ahead of the 2020/21 campaign next summer.
The report claims that PSG still values Neymar at £ 154 million and it remains to be seen whether Barca will be ready to meet the price of the offer.
Neymar scored 105 goals in 186 appearances for Barca in 2013 and 2017 before moving to PSG. Manchester United and Real Madrid are also linked to hunting Neymar next summer.
